Heading south from The Horn into Good Hope Bay these broken canyons & shelves border the east side of the lake. Just off this picture to the right is the point of rock I have labeled #6.

#6 - This rock point extends into the lake and forms the north wall of the canyon pictured below.

This is the steep-walled, somewhat twisted canyon between #1 & #2.

#2 - A large gravel pile on top of a fairly vertical rock "island". The rocks in the foreground (on the left & right sides of the picture) define the south side of the entrance of the canyon in the picture above.

This "hump" midway between #3 & #4 is the highest point in a somewhat shallow basin between these two points. There isn't really any canyon between #3 & #4.

#4 - Is a large gravel mound.

#5 - Like #2 this gravel "hump" lies on top of a large rock with steep to vertical sides.
