Even at this level, this outcropping defines the mouth of a small cove (behind it in this photo). The channel side of this rock drops straight down another 100+ feet.

NOTE: There is a substantial rock ledge extending into the canyon channel from W3, and a near identical one midway between W1 & W3. Both these ledges are at a lake level of approximately 3610 feet.
